There is some aura, some divinity which cannot be put into words but can be easily experienced at the river banks. What a visual pleasure it is just to be at the bank. For a moment it appears as though the river Ganges is really descending from heaven as cited in Hindu mythology. Situated on the banks of Ganges River, there is another river, a river of humans. In India, people are generally used to crowds and don’t give a damn. However, the crowd in Haridwar is staggering even by the Indian standards. Rarely can you see so many people at one place in the world.
